Fantastic!! Now I have only the cyma shotty to soothe my nerves.

Basically the pistol ( WA SCW3 SV 6 Inch ) wouldn't blow back when a bb was in the chamber and would blow back when there wasn't. So I gave it the the man downstairs to have a poke around, now it does blow back but the trigger doesn't work, the safety stops the trigger from being pulled but the trigger has no effect on the hammer, which is constantly forward, and only rarely locks back. Because the hammer is always forward when you release the slide you get some nice full auto fire.

This is really annoying, can anyone help?

Sounds like the leaf spring wasnt put on correctly, thats the common cause of trigger issues on 1911 type guns. Arnies hav a thread, I'll look for a link.

Edit: Feck cant find it, I'm in work so cant keep looking, google leaf spring positioning 1911 etc and you should find plenty of solutions, its a common error.

Edit 2: The leaf spring should be pressing down on the sear and the sear
disconnector(better name?), and one part should be pushing out on the grip.

Make sure the other two parts of the spring rest on top of the two parts in the trigger assembly, you should be able to figure it out when you open it up.

I'll be sending my pistol to these guys www.eliteairsoftuk.com. They are an official WA retailer and do repairs and upgrades. The VSR doesn't come into play as I already own the gun so what do you think? Good idea/Bad idea?
