I'm toying around with buying a land rover discovery, for the 7 seats and 4wd. Anyone know what to look out for on these, it will be the second car in the family and will do little mileage. I think they've the pre TD5 engine, but I'd prefer the TD5. Any recommendations

Gearbox failure is a common problem on these machines. Make sure a mechanic checks it out thoroughly as most of them have a hard life and maybe knackered at this stage.
