    Hi,

I really would like a cat, but have a mild allergy to them, sneezing etc. I have read about allergy free cats, does anyone know if there is an Irish breeder of these animals ?

A Devon or Cornish Rex might suit - they're missing the guard hairs and don't shed as much as other breeds of cats. I have a Devon Rex - his breeder lives in Scotland & we brought him back on the ferry.

Laperms are the same as the rex breeds with regard to shedding.
GCCFI is the cat council, you will be able to research breeders in their website.
