If you want something different, try John Forkin on the Monasterevin road from Athy. About 2-3 miles out from Athy. He has an iron works and does both retail and custom pieces. You can do a search on the web for his site.

Try Old Charm fireplaces at Royal Oak Carlow...drive out KK road and before
Royal Oak/Bagenalstown turn off to the left you'll see Old Charm Fireplaces sign...they are behind the Pet & Vet shop/clinic that fronts on to KK road. Exceptionally good value.

If not try Allens in Castle Street. Or Carlow Stone Centre if you need to match it to Kilkenny Living mantlepiece (timber).

Zokia also have nice ones from time to time. They are around Graiguecullen.
