    Lets not bother ....
Seriously I have never meet a group of pure lads that were a clique ... I dont think it would split the forum at all.

It doesn't matter if it becomes a clique or not.. it will be perceived as one.

I was made a mod of that PBAN forum when it was first set up... but I had myself demodded quickly from it as I didn't like being so publicly associated with something that could be seen as cliquey...

I'm very much all about social inclusion.

    ????????

I don't think it'd be "cliquey", the original idea behind this thread was a thread for guy's, men, blokes, dudes or whatever you want to call them, a lot of wimmin post here now and it definitely add's to the forum. I know a lot of guys here post over the way also, but I can definetly see how both forums would benefit from a private sub forum for just that gender.

I'll second 6th (sorry I bad jokes and farts, I have a daily quota).
As for a name I prefer the cigar room.

I was 1 month on Boards when I arranged my first beers (Gillo was there) and have since arranged about a dozen nights out, and 8 trips away. Also I have been to plenty of Boards.ie Beers and missed a few when my kids were born. Having kids makes it harder but I dont think anyone can question my social presence on here?

I skipped the pBan ones because of the drama and currently have a broken wrist so am out at the moment too.

Hows my CV look now Le Rack?

I fail to see the point of yet another boards.ie sponsored cliquefest.

6th, you need to spell this out for those of us who aren't getting the vibe...

I don't like elitism ... and I always associate private forums with elitism. Maybe I'm wrong.

Also ... as Groucho Marx said ... I don't want to be part of any club that would accept me as a member.

    I voted no.

I think it's a poor idea. I don't see this place being overrun by the wimmins and the ones that are regulars are entirely welcome (pix pls, kxthnxby). Moreover, the ones who don't fit in have their own oestrogen yakfest now.

    Motion dismissed.
