    love that video rew, excellent

i have 3 of the g&p illuminated mags now...looks cool. cant find anyone who sells the luminous BB's this side of the world with charging a kings ransom for it..

on the luminous bb's the best ones i have seen are the TM and G&G ones, the latter coming in bigger amouts and better value. you can get orange and green colour...the green seems to be better

by the way if you want to make your own mag..here is a link, oh and put a blacklight or uv led in there, ignore the led he is recommending..you can get the uv ones on ebay for bugger all...

i might put a bunch of them in a silencer to see how it works as tm dont make theirs anymore..

oh and remember, tracers work in both directions...!!

Yeah your man is a hell of a target between the laser and the tracers.

    hahah..isnt he just...

i have used 2 speed loaders, 1 of normal, 1 of illuminated. so i do one or 2 presses of normal, one press of illuminated...so you get 5 or so illuminated for ever 15 or so rounds..unless you want to do the 1 in 5 hand loading, which i just dont have the patience for...

Last time I used them I loaded one in three tracer and last five all tracer. That let me know it was mag change time before I finished firing. I was considering getting my own tracer unit but I'm not sure I'd use it enough to warrant it. Though I do have NVG so it would look cool

Any light should charge them, UV is handy because its invisable to the naked eye at low intensity and only dull at higher intensities

er, nvg....dare i ask where you got that??

Had the NVG for years, used it for hunting. Gen 2, about 100 yards range. No magnification on it. Got a head-mount for it cheap online a few years ago but never had need to use it, one of those impulse buys. I had a few IR snaplights kicking around somewhere too but I can't dig them out.

EBay, or some shops. There are loads of handheld NV scopes, alot of camcorders have an NV mode (note the Paris Hilton vid :D). Thing is most of them are 1st gen rubish. The only legal issue with NV gear is if it can be mounted on a firearm and then you require authorisation from your local superindentant.

I have some of them as well there deadly, look compleatly inert to the naked eye and glow really bright through the NV. Loads of fun to cut them open and put them on people backs... ;)

Trick with them is to fire a short burst then move, by the time their return fire gets there, you'll be gone.

This thread made me go looking for my old equipment. I now have an update.

I had a Gen 2 nvg. What I now have is a rubber tube, IR emmiter and a whole load of smashed glass lens. Oh joy.

I did however find my IR snaplights so I guess I'll have to go a-hunting for a new nvg

The Maruii tracer units seem to be rare enough. A lot of sites list them but they are usually out of stock. Anyone bought one?

There quite a few people at GZ using tracer rounds in (obviously) the night-time games. It was great to see the tracer, although as Falls said, it works both ways ;)

The rest of us who didn't have tracer or stupidly powerful mag-lites, or NVG/Scopes were using the tracer rounds as markers to fire at (or in the same direction) depending. It was absolute chaos and anarchy in the dark. Single-shot only. But even still ...

That said, I did get to play around with a couple of the marshals NV-Scopes which were Gen.3 beasties (stupid, stupid money for both of them but absolutely amazing to use)

The funniest thing with NVG is actually viewing digicam of any type in it. Part of it's original design was to disrupt older NVG. I've never seen that work.

i think that was because the way the old russian stuff worked and that mixed with the digicam was supossed to make you blur..apparently..

The 3/3+ stuff seem to be coming down in price alot now that theres Gen 4 stuff available. I still reckon 2.5k+ for anything good new.

Thats a pitty about your NVG's NakedDex, could have been fun at HRTA some night. Everyone after you with your NVG's on :D

A cursory glance on ebay around September put Gen 3 stuff around the $3-4.5k mark, so €2.5k+ sounds about right

Do lots of reading and try before you buy if possible. Most affordable 1st Gen is awfull I know plenty of people who bought for the cool factor but the practical side of it made them regret dropping a few hundred yoyos on them.

I'm getting a new pair and I may get a full vision set this time, Gen 2 again, instead of a monoc. It'd be awesome to have a proper night game. A couple of people with NVGs trying to hunt down those without them, sounds like a fun game to me. Flare discipline and snaplights all over the place. Finally a game where I can use an IR beacon!
