Good deal in Currys?

Possibly, for anyone looking for a very portable machine.

EI Systems laptop, we all know they used to look like a laptop made out of lego but they've seriously updated their image lately, same prices, but laptops look a hell of a lot better!

Anyway, I was in Currys, and saw an EI Systems laptop for 499 - and it had a 13.3" screen. Seriously nice looking piece of kit for that price. Other specs were OK, Celeron M, 1gb Ram, nothing out of the ordinary for that price, If I hadn't just bought a Vostros a short while ago I'd consider it, price aside, looks the biz and very small. Ideal for student using laptop a fair bit..

Is this the one? Found it on Currys.co.uk site and have to say its not the ugliest (sp?) laptop I've ever seen. Would be perfect for the budgety art student (or any kind of student)!

Looked like that, not sure if its the exact same model, and it also had 1gb of ram when I saw it.

And in case anyone thinks I was calling a Celeron M and 1gb of ram a bargain I wasn't, I was referring to the fact that it's a 13.3" portable which are usually quite expensive!

Well finding a 13" laptop for that price is pretty rare, even if the spec leaves a lot to be desired. Still though even at that spec if all you are doing is sending emails and browsing the internet then it is decent.
