Can someone tell whats the main differences are? A bunch of us were talking about this but never found out the differences in the rules between the NBA and the basketball rules played in Europe.

    Thanks

Depends what you specifically want to know about, court is smaller in Europe for example, and the 3pt line is closer in. There isn't a huge difference, but there are some minor differences.

do they (NBA) have some different rules on defense play or am I dreaming that up? :)

Was more looking for any of the differences even they are only minor, have tried looking in google but to no avail.

Do they have 30 seconds for an offence play or is it smaller?

    Hey

    http://msn.foxsports.com/nba/story/7133344

Written before TEAM USA's Olympic Qualifiers it gives an idea of some of the differences.

Note:The International shotclock has actually been 24 seconds for a good few years now not the 30 seconds stated in the article.
