Hello all,

I ahve been asekd to fix a failed hard disc in a Toshiba laptop, in which I have, however as im looking to place XP back to the disc, i need to change the boot order to boot off my unattended xp reinstallation disc.

I cannot change the boot order due a bios password that the owner is not aware of.

I see everywhere that the most common way to clear the password (without paying naturally) is to create the above connector and boot with it connected in the back holding ESC.

however, every parallel cable i have has its internal cables fused in silicone/rubber to the pins, so i cannot construct the plug with the cables in the required format.
