ps3 broke?

    Got a PS3 in august and the disks are not being recogised since tuesday.
    Any help would be great!

    does anyone have the same problem?

    Are they Playstation 3 discs? Are they clean/scratches? Have you tried a lense cleaning kit?

    Most likely it's just dust in your drive. The PS3 is a kinda hoover that'll happily suck in every bit of dirt in the room. Lense cleaning disc should fix it if that's the problem.

    Could be faulty drive.
    My DVD+/-R/RW drive stopt working after a mounth of purchase.
    i heard that some external drives work with PS3 if you have a external USB drive on PC plug it into PS3 if it works then your PS3's drive is definitly faulty.

    This has happened to my mate as well but he bought his in the US.(sony us warranty ONLY covers the US) On the internet a few people seem to have this problem and it seems like its a faulty drive.

    the first PS3 I bought wouldn't accept discs, I brought it back and got a new one in a day.
