Increase Energy

    Hi,

I have been playing 5 aside soccer matches for about 6 months now. I think I am reasonably fit. I play 2-3 times a week and each game is an hr long. I also try to go for a run on another day

I find that I cannot run around for a decent period without needing to take a break. Even 10 mins and I'm drained. I just don't have the energy!

How can I increase my energy levels??

Since the evenings are now dark I am going into the gym rather than running outside.
What would be the best gym training program for to increase my energy levels?

    Thanks.

How are you fuelling your body for your training? Are you taking in enough useful carbs?

Having a ferrari in the garden is damn all use if I don't fill it with the right petrol :)

    What should I be eating?

And how many hours in advance of training?
