Anyone hear a series of loud bangs last night around 10.15p.m.? Sounded like those things they use to scare away crows in fields only much louder. There was about 10 of them in succession.

Yes I heard a series of loud explosions last night between 19:20 and 19:40hrs, originating from out to sea. There were also white flashes in the sky and red tracer like trails closer to the water. The sounds were so powerful that they caused the windows on the house to rattle, you could also feel the pressure waves. I assumed it was the naval service practicing gunnery but it sounded very intense.
