Just as the title says, I'm looking to buy a decent but not overly expensive laser colour printer for home use. Had a Dell all-in-one in the past but didn't find the build quality very impressive.

    Any suggestions?

There are no good inexpensive colour lasers.
Look at HP, Brother and Epson models. All better than the Dell. Do not buy cheapest in range.

Note you need a LOT of RAM on the printer (4 times a mono postscript). Make sure it is a true PCL & Postscript, not WinGDI or it will be very slow.

You need ethernet (and possibly parallel cable). USB colour lasers harder to network and often slower and GDI.
