....Feel free to move this thread if its not in the right place, wasn't sure where would be the best....

I was wondering if anyone one knew of a device that you can use to change the channels on your tv without using the tv's remote control. Why would I want to do this? Because the remote reciever on the tv is broken and I dont want to pay through the teeth for it. If anyone know of such a thing, I would love to hear about it!
    Thanks a lot.
    A.

    A long stick maybe???

Had to be said, sorry. Don't think there's any such device. If there was it's probably going to use the TVs remote receiver anyway. What about watching the channels through a vcr and use the vcr remote to change channels. You'd pick up a vcr in powercity for €80. Have you been quoted a price on getting the TV repaired?
