    Yes. PS3 console will play all PS3 games from any region. Backwards compatability may be an issue - the PS3 will only play PS2 and PSOne games from the region they were bought in.

    aha! Thanks for that. Well i have a PS2 for them anyway so thats cool.
    My sis is heading to NY in dec, i'm going to ask her to get me one. 40GB for $399 including a game. ~€280?! Not too bad.
