    Hey,

Does anyone know if places like Amazon, Play, etc. will accept the VISA Debit card that Halifax give their current account customers?

    Thanks.

Anywhere that accepts Visa accepts them... places that only accept Laser won't.

Really? That's cool. I was worried if I opened a Halifax account to get a Visa Debit Card that it wouldn't have the security thing on the back and the valid from date (like Lasers :() and these are two things Play need when purchasing there.

EDIT: Just noticed on the sample images that you'll find on Google Images if you search for "Visa Debit Card" that there isn't a valid from date. Does the Halifax one come with one, because I think Play need that.

Play don't need the start date. The expiry date is the only critical one.

So what would you enter for the start date?

well it doesn't matter cause the card DOES have a 'valid from' date, unlike some images found on google
