Got stuck in Bryyo. thought I was trapped, had to use a walkthrough and I never do that. This game is way too hard!

Iv found it tough in spots but when you get used to it its grand. Was stuck at what I reckon is the same point as you for ages till I figured it out.

I got stuck early on there as well. In the part where you
meet the red covers over the doors for the first time. It took me a week to figure out a missle blast in the centre of the cover blows it off.
First go at a metroid game. I am enjoying it though. Apparently, 1 and 2 are much harder:).

Find far easier and a little bit more linear than Metroid 1 and 2. If you scan everything you not only find out more about your surroundings and get a much more immersive experience you also won't be making any silly mistakes like chumpski and the red doors which was blatantly obvious to me.

I got a bit stuck on Bryyo at first, at the part where you have to get the little yokes to stick onto you while in ball form, then the big yoke hoovers you up (great explaination, i know:p)
    didn't realise that there were
three tunnels on the left hand side of the screen
    for ages:o
Overall I found it far easier than MP1 and MP2, apart from that bloody final boss battle (I still haven't tried it again)

So far an easier game alright than the others, but still, my gods, how this game, on hardware 6 odd years old now, can still make your jaw drop, I'm in Skytown and Retro, the developers, pack more character into a level than the Ratchet and Clank\Jak and Daxter guys do in a whole game, awesome.
Except for the intial mission, that sucked!

Nothing compares, however, to the training mission in the first Prime game, on the space station, when they switch the gravity back on, nice!

the start of the metroid prime games always sucked but they really dragged out the start of Metroid Prime 3. They tried to make it more like Halo for the first hour and it just didn't suit the game at all. However when it starts going when you get to Bryyo it settles down into another brilliant Metroid Prime game we all know and love.

I made it through the game right until the hard to get Power cell on Bryyo. Had to consult the walkthrough for that and don't think I would have copped it at all. Only by fluke i reckon. Just sailed through the end of it though. Last boss wasn't all that difficult. Only times I died were early on when neglecting to vent Phazon in time.

Great game though. Enjoyed every hour I got out of it. Now to sell it to get money for Mario Friday!!!

Yes, agree. Scanning everything is essential. I did scan those doors though and it did hint at how to open them. Just didnt get you had to blast it in a certain place.
