Aspiring psychologists were attending their first class on emotional extremes at Trinity.
'Just to establish some parameters,' said the professor to the student from Monkstown, 'What is the opposite of joy?'
    'Sadness,' said the student.

'And the opposite of depression?' he asked of the young lady from Rathmines.
    'Elation,' she said.

'And you sir,' he said to the young man from Ballinasloe , 'How about the opposite of woe?' The man replied, 'That would be 'giddy up'.

You'd want to do it quick before the rest of the Maughan/Connors catch up with you. You'd be in for a right slash-hooking!

Quite striking, the difference between "ladies day" at the RDS and "ladies" day in Ballinasloe, isn't it?

I don't get it...should I be from Dublin to get it?
Or am I just really tired!
