The memorycard must have the right folder structure. Go to the psp settings and choose "format memorystick" (make sure to back up any files first because this will wipe the memorystick). Then you will have the right folder structure. Just put music in the music folder etc

Whats the system software version? Go to Settings/System Settings/System Information and tell us what it is.

In general, the psp's video format is mp4. There are some good free programmes out there to use (pspvideo9, xvid4psp, 3gp converter).

Depending on your firmware, .mp4 files can go in the :\VIDEO folder or the :\PSP\VIDEO folder or in the :\MP_ROOT\100MNV01 folder (make the folder if its not there)

Thats great im all set up now but one last problem i promise!!!!

Bought the new Tomb Raider game an when i try and load it , it requires a system upgrade to 3.51 my psp is currently 2.81.

so i am following the steps to preform the upgrade but an error is coming up saying " The system confrigration of this PSP does not apper to be correct. The updade cannot be complete. Contact Technicial support for assistance."

    Any Help would be great

Never heard of that error before but I've heard Lumines is a great game for PSP. You should check it out if you want to learn more about the PSP ;)

Any back on topic, try resetting system defaults by system setting and "restore default settings".

But I would not recommend upgrading to 3.51FW until you do a bit more research.
