Hey can't really find a better forum to ask the question:(

I am heading to London next year and I am looking for flights at the moment but can anyone tell me which airport is handiest to fly to? We will be heading for the O2 arena and I am sure booking a hotel near there!

Not sure which will be better between Gatwick, Stanstead and Heathrow-so some help would be appreciated cheers.

    Hey there,

London City (LCY) Airport is the closest airport to the O2 Arena!
Flights from Dublin are with CityJet/Air France.
Stansted and Luton would be the farthest away, your other options are Gatwick or Heathrow, but definitely London City airport is the closest.
    Cheers!

London City, as said, is by miles the best option for The O2. However flights there can be a little more expensive than the other airports - then again, it is 100% more convenient for where you're going than any other the others.

Heathrow is the polar opposite side of London, so may not be the best option. Gatwick or Luton could work with a train in towards the city, or Stansted (with a bus connection to Stratford in East London and then onwards to your hotel)

As the others say London City is best for access to the O2 Arena, but Heathrow is probably a lot cheaper given some of the Aer Lingus specials - if you don't mind an hour jammed into a tube train :D
