Ok a friend of mine asked me to ask around and find some info..

He was filmed at work doing some training on some machinery. Some howto demos and talk through type thing. He was told that the film was to be used for inhouse training.

He has since learnt that the film is being used as part of a new training dvd about to be launch by his company and sold worldwide. He's never signed any thing and recieved any payments..just curious does he have any grounds for seeking payment or whatever..

    thanks for everyone help!

If he still works for the company, it was more than likely in the course of his employment and therefore is not an issue as he consented.

In respect of the use of his image in the market external to the course of his employment and payment he may have some sort of case arising but its highly unlikely depending on his employment contract.

Contact a solicitor furnish solicitor with copies of contract etc.
