Hi, I'm looking for a graphics tablet, preferably wired and larger than 6". Anyone know of a half-decent quality cheap one? Thanks.

I've got a Trust TB-3100 and have been using it for about 9 months - it's pretty good, though depending on the scale of the work you're using it for, you might be better off with the 1200-TV. (Despite its name the TB-3100 is a wired tablet in that the board itself has a USB2 connection, but it comes with a drawing pen and a wireless mouse that works on the tablet as well). If they sound suitable, Pixmania has a reasonable deal on them both.

(If you can afford it, go for a Wacom - they're generally hailed as the best of the lot, but tend to have pricetags to match...)

I'd agree, Wacom is the way to go if you can. I've had my Wacom for over 4 years and it still works fine.

I've tried some of the cheaper tablets in Aldi etc. and whilst there isn't an immediate difference the Wacom is better in pretty much every way.

One difference is that in the cheaper ones you need to put a battery in the pen which makes it less ergonomic to use.

Wacom have released a Bamboo range of tablets that start at €65 on Pixmania

They don't have all the features of the more expensive versions but nothing that I'd miss.

It really depends what you want it for though. If you want to just replace your mouse a Trust/Medion/Tevion should be fine.

If you are serious about drawing or art work the Wacom is the way to go imo.

If you prefer a Bricks and Mortar store Peats have some Wacom tablets from €59:

I think I'll go for the 1200-TV. I remember seeing it, or something incredibly similar, on scan or dabs about 5 months ago for €50. Would that be right?
