Emergency tax...

I've done a search on this forum but the two threads that came up didn't really answer my questions so:

I've been employed twice for short term work (4 weeks in total) and got charged a huge amount of tax. I have the two P45 and want to reclaim my tax - I have earned around 1,500 euro so well below taxable levels I think.

The revenue office sent me out two forms to fill and told me to attach the second part of my P45s to reclaim tax... problem is my employer's handwriting is very light and you can't see anything written on the second yellow sheet (never mind the third sheet!) - should I fill it in myself or send them a photocopy of the first sheet?

Also, how long would it take for me to get my money back?

    Many thanks.
