Was coming home on Friday night after popping into the local for a quick one after work (big mistake 1.30 before I escaped). When I came across this car. As i was trying to get a few shots of I noticed that the meter was going mad. Especially after the small explosions that occur. How do you get over that? Oh I was well Pi**ed which probably didnt help.

Were your mates that worried you would drink and drive ? would it not have been easier just to take the keys off you ??

Sunny I don't drink and drive I have seen the damage drinking and driving does too many times, the mistake was I popped in at 5.30 for a quick one but didnt get leave till after 1.00 (Married). I was walking when I caught this. Jaqian These were taken in a estate just of the city west road. I must have just missed the little scumbags who stole the car as it was only just getting alight.

That last one is fantastic, if you have a higher res one it would be perfect for stock. Might make a few quid out of it.

I wouldn't worry too much about the meter in a situation like this. Meters can be fooled by even a 'normal' everyday scene. What you were photographing had huge contrast and would wreck the head of any poor light meter out there.

You did fantastically well considering the amount you had to drink.
