Looking for some healthy snacks? At the moment I only eat fruit and nuts as snacks. Have tryed rice cakes but they don't do anything for me taste like cardboard.

Babybel light. Around 40 calories a pop. Plenty of protein in them.

Tin of tuna is a handy enough snack too.

edit: for a low cal treat, I use frozen capri-sun (around 75 cals). Delish.

Rice cakes smell vile to me, and are tasteless. Try ryvita crackers instead, the sesame ones are really nice.

I cook up batches of stir fried chicken or mince, and leave it in a big jar. Then microwave small amounts, wrap in an iceberg leaf and eat like a wrap.

Thanks for the suggestions, but I hate cheese (the smell makes me sick) and then rice cakes I don't like at all no matter whats on them:D. Also son't like tuna.

I have a lovely recipe for Chickpea snacks. It is something along the lines of: Spread a tin of drained chickpeas onto a roasting tin, cover in lemon juice and sprickle on a pinch of paprika. Bake at 180c for about 45 mins. Opening the oven door every 15 mins or so to give them a good shake.

I'll check the recipe later and see if that's accurate enough.

sometimes they are gorgeous, others a bit chewey.

    You're fecked.

    Raisins...but they're more fruit.

I bake chicken breast and sprinkle seasoning on them and bring them into work. Nice for a snack.

Rubadub: Nice idea on the lettuce leaf.
