Facing back into a full week of work perhaps?
Or is it that Sundays seem to be a day where people often lounge about with nothing to do leaving more time for you to feel like you've wasted a day off perhaps?

Sundays have always been an odd day for me. It's often a quiet day, and if you don't occupy yourself during it you can feel quite odd come evening time.

Generally I don't mind going to work, heading back on a Monday doesn't bother me. What I think bothers is not using my weekend to it's full potential.

Some of my friends tend to feel down on a Sunday due to alcohol consumption over the weekend. Even if you haven't experienced a hangover, it is a depressant and can affect you for days afterwards.

It depends if something pissed me off during the day.I mean,I never bring my problems with me to school, but I do bring my moods home!

i haven't drank in the last few months so i doubt it's related to that. i don't mind going in to work either really. might have something to do with seeing people at the weekend only and not again until the following weekend. annoying though!

To echo the previous statements, I always find myself slightly narky on Mondays due to it being the longest amount of time up until you're finished.

I hate Sunday evening too. Going back to school, while school in itself is not a bad thing, is annoying. Giving up the freedom of the weekend for another whole five days of working... bleh.

Sure i feel down on certain days too, mainly Mon-Fri:)

But in all seriousness, Sundays are boring, i've just sat in all day, eating fast food and ****e all the while hoping tomorrow never comes.

You should plan something for next Sunday. Plan the whole day with a friend, go on a long drive in the morning, have a pub lunch in some remote location. When you get back in the early afternoon go swimming or shopping or something and then in the evening get a dvd and a takeaway. I wouldn't feel depressed today if i were with a friend having a laugh.

As a kid I hated Sundays because of school the following day and evening Mass delivered by a long winded priest.
35 years on I still hate Sundays because of work the following day.
A friend retired (youngish man) recently, he hates Sundays because he doesnt know what to do with himself the following week.

Perhaps we should just opt for a six day week.
