Don't think duddy and lee would happen for two years or so but be one to watch, also think pavlik is just way too big for del la hoya bit like hopkins was don't ya think.

I like pavlik but think de la hoya would be a great match up with pavlik, im undecided on who i think would win that 1, de la hoya is much bigger now than when he fought hopkins, he looked heavy by fat back then, now its more muscle..

Kelly is far too big for ODLA, Haye is two or even three years off being ready for a decent heavyweight in the class of Wladimir and finally I really dont need to see Lee and Duddy face eachother down until Lee has at least six more fights - Duddy v Macklin on the other hand!

It not about his musle hear oscar is only 5'10 and kelly is 6'2 which is even bigger than hopkins and kelly would be so naturally bigger so i wouldn't think that would happen but how about oscar fighting cotto that would be good.

Oscar would get brutally whupped if he faced Pavlik. He was KO'd by an OLD Hopkins. Kelly is at or close IMO to his peak and hits harder than HOP and is
IMO physically stronger with even greater physical advantages. What a mismatch.....

1. Mayweather vs Cotto
2. Hatton vs Witter
3. Hatton vs Mallignagi ( in MSG!!!)
4. Calzaghe vs Hopkins
5.Enzo Maccarinelli vs Cunningham ( would have said Haye but that wont happen)
6. an undisputed heavyweight title fight for all belts*
7.Wayne McCullough vs anyone (would love to see him live!)**
8. Dunne Vs Martinez 2
9. Duddy Vs Taylor
10. Pavlick Vs Winky

* Depends on the results of these fights and the ones that follow but could happen late 2008:
Klitschko vs Ibragimov IBF WBO IBO
Chagaev vs Skelton WBA
Maskaev vs Peter WBC

** some opponent that could lead to a title shot, eg the winner of Pickering Hughes then a Euro title shot, OR
he keeps talking about a world title shot, so maybe Martinez then Vazquez and retire in 2008.

Manny Pacquiao v Joan Guzman definitely love to see that one go ahead

Karl Froch to step up to light- heavyweight to fight Joe Calzaghe if Calzaghe decides to move up a weight class as he stated after beating Mikkel Kessler.

Kermit Cintron v Miguel Cotto

The Duddy-Macklin one sounds interesting and definately a Dunne-Martinez rematch could be a classic.

Well i didnt think this year could be as good as 2007 for match-ups !

But... isnt it shaping up nicely. We got Duddy's long shot against Pavlik !
I think the hatton-witter will happen too.
We got Cotto vs. Alfli Gomez
Kermit Cintron gets another go against Margarito !
A repeat of fightof the year contender sees Vasquez thrash it out with Marquez for the last of the triology !!!

And i do believe Chad dawson will meet Roy Jones , with Hopkins and Calzaghe tied up ! Alternatively it could be tarver, either way it should be good.
Nikolai Valuev vs Sergei Liakhovich is only around the corner and the german TV is always streamed online.... which rewminds me to go look for Potvetkin v Chambers , should kick off in about an hour or so !

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/boxing/7176035.stm

Maybe we didn't miss it, but this is dated as Jan 8th.
I didn't see it until now...

This is a mega fight between two major hitters....
