DVD+RW rewriter problems

    Hi all,
I bought a few "Mr.DVD" DVD+RW blank dvd's, I burnt a few .avi and .wmw videos onto one using "sothink movie dvd maker" this is the third dvd I have made using this software, but the 1st time using Mr.DVD.
The problem is that it won't play on my ps2 or dvd player, all the other dvd's I have written worked, and all were dvd+r.
Any suggestions/ idea's as to why this might be happening?

    Thanks in advance,

    Darragh Kirwan.

The software is not formatting/burning it correctly

    Get Nero or the like

Just use Verbatim DVD+R discs, they play on everything and will drop less segments.

I've never been able to get any DVD+RW to work on my PS2 (any brand - Mr DVD or otherwise). Guess it just doesn't recognise them. DVD+Rs are no problem. btw alot of older standalone DVD players don't recognise +RWs, -RWs.

Just another thought, some of the MR DVD have 'RW' written on them when in fact when you check them more closely, they are in fact +R,-R. Just doublecheck. Caused me some headaches a few years back, as I wasn't finalising them. Anyhow, best of luck
