    Hi was speaking to a mechanic over text msg and he told me to do the below can anybody explain.

    "Measure the stud centres and see if there 100mm PCD"

    Im buying a set of rims but unsure they will fit.The car is VW bora 2000

    This is a way of measuring the distance between the hole centres on the wheel hub. On four - stud hubs this is done diagonally - measure between opposite holes- On a five-stud hub (which the bora is) i think it's measured around the outside but if that's the case 100mm seems a bit big. Most five stud wheel set ups are standard though afaik
