... I still get all the info and my BB and VOIP still works
Any ideas? It literally just stopped working in the middle of switching channels and has been gone about 3 hours now.
    In D16 area.

    cheers.

Are you sure your TV is on the correct channel?

And that the scart leads are all nice and secure?

If it's not that, then I bet a hard reboot will bring it back...

Unplug the decoder box from the socket at the wall

Pull out the smart card from the decoder (be sure to note which way it goes in, so you'll put it back in the same way)

    Give it about twenty seconds

    Plug back in the decoder

When the smartcard error message comes up on your tv screen, put the smartcard back into the decoder.

    It should work.

If not, you'll have to ring customer service and ask them to send a refresh entitlement to the decoder. They're open until 10pm and it's a freephone number, 1908.

reboot seems to have fixed it (thx) but now the volume on the decoder doesnt work. :(
I can see the volume graphic on the screen but the volume doesnt change (and mute does nothing even though the mute graphic appears)
I have checked all the leads, scart etc but nothing...anymore ideas?
    cheers!

Swap your scart lead at the back of the stb around and that should fix the volume control

Well thats fixed but now the box is acting up.

When watching anything/any channel the box will often freeze and then restart or else the screen goes black for about 5 seconds and then it will all come back.

    Bloody annoying.

Any ideas or is it a just dodgy box?
