    Anyone using two WHR-HP-G54 for wireless bridging? ... Just want to check what sort of range/throughput people are getting without using any external antennas. Need to bridge a gap of about 140 feet without much intruding into the line of sight (some greenery during summer)

    Plan is to have router connecting to one end of bridge and laptops connecting to remote end

    [router]<---wired--->[WHR-HP-G54]<---wireless--->[WHR-HP-G54]<---wired--->[Computer]

    I am almost certain it will work without much hassle, just wondering about throughput (possibility of some gaming between sides). Also wondering how DHCP works over those two extra wireless boxes, or whether I should just go with static IP's......

    I also read that soon there will be a WHR-HP-G54DD with a third party firmware preinstalled that is supported by Buffalo...... might bide my time until thats out.
