    hey guys,
    reinstalled windows on dads laptop, luckily i copied over some driver folder aswell and it had a sound driver , which didnt seem to work, its crystal 4250, anyway i finally have that working, the basic ac97 Intel worked fine too
    but the midi does not play back ? its set to
    "MIROSOFT GS WAVETABLE SW SYNTH" but no luck

    after extensive search i found that its caused by a missing file, gm.dls windows/sys32/drivers

    so replaced it with mine
