Anyone seen the ads for the PermanentTSB personalised bank cards? Ever thought about putting one of your own photos on your bank card?

Well, here are the conditions -

Your image cannot contain any of the following:

* Trademarks, logos, slogans, company names, copyrighted material or brands of any third party.
* Advertising or promotional material, or branded products.
* Celebrities, actors, musicians, sportspeople, cartoons.
* Phone numbers, addresses, URL addresses, account or PIN numbers.
* Provocative, sexual, violent or other offensive content.
* Nudity or semi nudity. Any images containing images of children in a state of undress will be rejected.
* Profanity or obscenities.
* Firearms or weaponry.
* Images which portray illegal or anti-social behaviour including over indulgence or under age consumption of alcohol or tobacco.
* Culturally insensitive images.
* Images which display political or religious beliefs.
* Libelous, defamatory or other content we deem offensive including socially unacceptable groups.
* Material that could infringe on the copyright or trademark rights of another party, including branded products, including abbreviations, acronyms, logos or related symbols.
* Illicit drugs or drug paraphernalia.
* Racial, prejudicial or discrimatory subject matter.
* All images must have the consent of the owner including those downloaded from the internet.

So ... what is allowed? Very little, it seems. Even some of the photos they use in their ad aren't allowed according to these conditions. :eek:

I'm making my own at the mo... Couldn't decide what single pic to put on it so I decided to make a collage of photos... looks pretty cool so far...

maybe it would make a good challenge to see who can come up with something that works within these conditions !

ok. so i guess you can submit a picture of a black night sky - shucks maybe that could offend someone who may be afraid of the dark ;o) phew - i dunno.

ah now their not too bad.. they;re just covering their own heynies

I'd say a shot like beefs with the right crop and positioning around logos etc would be pretty cool........ i.e. the permanent tsb logo as a fish jumping out of water and straight into the herons gaze

saw that ad a few weeks ago and thought "hmm, I wonder what a laser card with a photo of my ass would look like on it?"

Pshaw, no nudity. Takes all the fun out of it tbh.

Actually I ordered mine the other day and it was accepted no problem I didn't think the T&Cs were anything outside the ordinary - just corporate ass-covering (and speaking of asses - EWWWWWW!!! rymus! Thanks you for that mental image...)

Here's the one, on a larger black background to make it landscape. Looking forward to seeing how it looks...

I don't have a TSB account either.
I like this, but I'm the type of person who gets bored very quickly!
