New camera

    Just saw an ad on TV for a new camera. Looks good. Reliable, sturdy, able to take the knocks we give cameras .... well worth checking out, especially for those who shoot in dangerous conditions.

    The Camera

    I know, it does have some limits, but still. :D

    pff, doesnt even list the max aperture of the lens. They won't sell many of those to serious photographers!

    $70 for a vga camera in a plastic case. The markup on those must be huge.

    I sincerely hope I never see anyone above the age of 16 with one of those. I may be forced to beat them severely.

    You don't know many sixteen year olds I'd bet, they all have much more expensive tastes than that.;)

    some may have more expensive tastes, but I'm willing to bet that the larger percentage of them are still as stupid as ever.
