    received dominoes vouchersyesterday in the post, on is for 50% off the order if its over 40 euro, we want to know if we order something and it comes o 41 euro say, wud it only be 20 with the voucher,the terms and conditions dont address this,its a bit of a gray area

    I'd imagine it would be €20.50....

    Seems fairly strait forward - if your order is more than €40 you get 50% off...

    I don't think you need to look at the terms and conditions. The scenario you describe seems to be exactly what it says on the voucher. What other way could you possibly interpret "50% off orders over €40"?

    Is this a wind up?

    Pizza is cheap. Bread, cheese and tomato mostly. Ever eat pizza in a restaurant on the continent? Big, delicious, about €8 on average.

    Only other way it could possibly be interpreted would be say 50% off everything you spend over the initial €40 i.e. €50s worth costs €45

    Could be but....

    so from the information given it is 50% off the order rather than the "over the top" amount....

    thats what we're wondering, im sceptical bout such a deal

    FWIW, I have rarely ever seen an offer from Domino's that was not a "buy one get one free", or "50% off if you spend more than €xx"

    If you want to be sure - ask them when you order...

    How could they have made it any clearer? It's very obvious:

    e.g. Total €44.50 --> (with discount): €22.25
    Total €60 --> (with discount): €30

    They'd hardly send a 'deal' with only 50% off the amount over €40.

    e.g. Total €42 -->(with discount): €41 --> not really a 'deal'

    p.s. Did you know the Dominoes in Tallaght has the highest turnover of any branch in the world ~ €2.35 million a year.
