Online & live, who does both?

Just wondering do many players on here have difficulty taking their live success to the internet? Ive always been a (consistant albiet small) winning player when i play live, but ive never had the patience or whatever it takes to succeed online. I fluked my way into this years IO via 2 PPP satellites and i won 1 of the pokerstars scheduled $100f/o, thats it, that was in march and id say ive cashed out 1 or 2 pitiful sums since then. I ended up cashing in the IO, but for sum reason i feel like i could do something like that again sooner than win another 1 of those online donkfests! I just cant seem to shake off the notion that everybody i play online is a donkey and they are ALWAYS BLUFFING! lol

So basically my question is are there many players who simply cant adapt to online play? And if im an exception then what am i doing wrong?

I feel im a decent at both. I'd play live alot more then I would online nowadays(Although my interest is growing again). The bluffing online is obviously alot harder to deal with but you get used to it

I'd like to play live, but there's no live poker here :( I'm beginning to think that if I play a WSOP event next Summer it'll be my first live game ever:eek:

People struggle with online play because the average player online is far better then average player live at similar stakes.

strangely enough I do ok online (technically I'm a 'winning player' but its pretty small tbh), but live cash I'm complete ****e. I find I get so bored live that I stopped playing Holdem cash in the fitz altogether and only play omaha but even then I find my self frustrated by the slowness of it all and I starting playing stupid hands that get me into trouble.

i'm the same as killme00, except i don't find live cash that fun. probably because i'm far too impatient and lose my nuts

I used to play mainly live and now play 97% online... In recent ventures live I just found the pace of the game fruatrating...

the standard of play live is far far worse than online...but the problem I find is with the smaller numbe of hands dealt I don't get to play enough hands with the bad players to make it worth my time....

My line hourly rate is pretty consistant overall but live I either cash out big or loose my stack.... normally with some donk getting lucky with a draw that he called for with no odds etc etc...

I go through phases, currently only playing live plo cash games, usually switch between live cash, live tournies, online cash and online tournies every few days as I start getting bored and playing badly.
