TY Work Experience in Radio (especially news?)

    Hi,

I'm in transition year at the moment and I'm looking for work experience in radio stations, particularly radio newsrooms. I've read a lot of the posts on forums etc and I realise how difficult it is to get work (even work experience) in radio.

I need work experience for December 17-21 2008 and March 10-14 2008 (but I am also available at weekends and during holidays) and while a whole week would be ideal, I'd really appreciate any opportunity to experience life in a radio station first hand, even for just a few hours.

I am honest and hard working and prepared to do anything necessary to be of help during the work experience. I'm currently training for the European Computer Driving Licence and have some basic conversational French and Spanish. I live in Greystones, Co Wicklow and can easily travel to Dublin City Centre.

If anyone can possibly accomodate me, please email me at jackburgess91@gmail.com. I look forward to hearing from you.

    Thanks a million,

    Jack.

What about East Coast FM? That would be more convenient than Dublin city centre.

Yeah, I've applied to East Coast and they can take me for 4 days :) but I need to organise 3 weeks :p

    Thanks for the reply
