Sound Card

Just wondering if anyone knows of any sound card you can download? Looking for one asap as Ive finally got my laptop up and running again after some serious issues and everything seems to be working fine except the sound card which cant be detected! So no sound on anything! Any help much appreciated

Check the laptop manufacturers site for drivers for your laptop, if its a Dell, you go to www.dell.com, go to support enter service tag and download the drivers, failing that realtek sound cards are popular so you could try their drivers if no luck with manufacturers site, http://www.realtek.com.tw/ is where its at,
