So what's up with the party for 1st year Science and BESS students on Thursday?

    Where is it? What time?

None of my friends will be going, so I don't know if I'll go for sure. Should I go on my own? Would it be good to make meet new people in my year?

Its in Purty Kitchen on Essex St in Temple Bar, it should be a great night.

Us guys in BESS are getting a deal, because we had the place booked on Halloween night, the managers double booked us with a load of 5th and 6th years though and some people in BESS who had tickets didn't even get in!

So there giving BESS the VIP area and giving us free champagne and free entry. I reckon it will be good craic if as many as possible could come along. That way I could get back in touch with some of my old Science buddies from secondary school.

5th and 6th years from secondary school or college?

Oh and BESS and Science, what a combination!

    From secondary school.

BESS and Science, together in one room, think of the possibilities:D

as far as I know, the 5th and 6th years were all bussed into Purty Kitchen, because the place they had bought tickets for was shut down earlier in the day, presumably cos of underagers...!

Science and BESS party should be great craic, although I feel a bit old now that im a 3rd year:(

ask around in the class to see if many are going even if not your good friends- you'll meet lots of people there!

Even if you wont know anyone you should come along. Thats the whole point of the nights out at this point, for everyone to get to know one another.
We've been together for a month now and I would only know a handfull of my class.
Science is even bigger than BESS so I'd imagine its probably the same.

I reckon it'll be a good night and you're bound to know at least one other person there anyway, if not convince your mates to come along, the more the merrier as they say. Although who 'they' are I'll never know.
