Flecktarn Advice

Ok I know some people have full flecktarn gear and I wanna get some myself, I'm going to order from flecktarn.co.uk. I want to get the used trousers and a parka jacket. I don't like combat shirts. Any body else get the jacket, Is it good? I also wanna get a tac vest maybe this one: MilTec Battle Vest, Flecktarn
It's quite expensive though, then I noticed this:South African Assault Vest (SAAV) available in flectarn. I wanna know will the pattern colour match really close to the clothing I wanna get? I have a steyr and a G36 and a Mp5. The first one come with 2 double G36 mag pouches, but the second has loads of pockets.

I can tell you now that airsoftscotland seem to be way over priced. I've just found me tact vest for 120 sterling when you can buy it direct from webtec for 60 sterling. Whatever you decide on, shop around, Flecktarn are good but their prices can be beaten.

Well I think that tac vest on Airsoft Scotland is cheaper than on viperkit.co.uk which I think is the official shop. Anyone know any good sites for flecktarn?

Anyone else notice the price increase for postage on flecktarn.co.uk ?
I remember ordering three pairs of combat trousers last year for about
£6 shipping and was surprised during the summer when shipping had increased
to £15 for 3 pairs of combats. Got a quote earlier this week for a couple
of items, postage was quoted as £18.50. Not cheap!

My mate has a complete flecktarn loadout from flecktarn.co.uk and I must say it is impressive. The flak jacket is the business.
Another good site to get tarn from is www.recon-company.com. Some fantastic gear there, my mate (same guy) ordered his pants and jacket from there and it's top notch.

i have the flak jacket ,nice piece of kit ,only down sides cant feel hits and it get very warm while skirmishing

Its expensive but the osprey plate carrier gets around the heat problem

there is 2 versions of flecktarn around the real version and a cheap clone if you could even call it that ,that looks CACK,

im getting some used gear from flecktarn in a couple of weeks,i like the worn look over spanky new look

I have a SAAV vest from flecktarn and a G36. Unfortunately the mag pouches on mine are too small for the G36 mags :mad: They are even a bit tight for M4 mags. So I'm thinking about the german webbing available from flecktarn which seems to be good value.

Opps :eek: got carried away while on a cheap german site, best place to get flecktarn if you think about it, and I bought a Jacket trousers a tac vest and a gear bag. Only got the bag cause I needed the order to be over €50.

I have the SAAV in Flecky and as Hoplite said the mag pouches are quiet small. It is a decent vest for the price and is easily adjustable. The hydration sack on the back is also very hand if you have a platypus or the likes. If your primary weapon is going to be the G36 I would recommend just getting a PLCE belt and a yoke and sticking on some G36 double mag pouches.

Be warned I decided to get some used issued trousers off them when placing an order a while back. They were almost white they were so worn

I have a flecktarn set + the Sniper Smock from Flecktarn.co.uk, I bought all my stuff new. It might have been expensive but its great quality gear and was pretty fast in arriving.
Having the sniper smock makes using a tac vest obsolete imo, as anything on the vest is dulicated on the jacket with extra padding & comfort it makes sitting in muddy bushes and tree's alot easier.
Tac Vest for Summer & Sniper Smock for Autumn/Winter/Spring is how I think it will work tho with our crasy Weather system I'll keep them both on hand.
