I was down in Wexford visiting a mate last Sunday night. We decided to visit the Newbay Casino club in Wexford town.

Anyway, we were half way through the night when a lady to my left who was a shortstack raised it up to 12. 2 called.

She open shoved the flop and fot one caller. She had 36 left behind.

    So pot is 108.

She is awarded the pot and I am looking at the pot when I see the dealer bin 2eurp chips and one 25 chip in the rake box. It was not a mistake and was not an error, She intentionally picked it up and dropped it in the slit. I am 100% sure of this.

    25EURO? from a 108euro POT??????????????

Anyway I told her, she complained and got her 24 euro back

Yes they are known for it, ive seen them take 100+ out of pots.

If you're here again the rake in the other casino is very reasonable, The Quay Casino.

    standard...

guessing the dealers rake is somehow factored into their wages...

...just keep a close eye on your own pots and you'll be ok

Bops where I see where you are coming from do you not think everyone should make an issue of this with the owners?

The dealer was underqualified regularly counting wrong pots , raking the **** out of pots, awarding pots to the wrong players. It was awful and should not be tolerated.

Not my day. This is the second complaint thread I have started.

I think the point is Bops is even if you make sure your own pots are not over raked when other pots are those chips leave the table to the detriment of all players

every pot affects you... if the money is going odff the table it affects you...

I played there once olny a long time ago and while i didn't notice anything this big I did question the rake as there was definately large rake been taken..... there was also a mad game goinng 5/10 maybe but i shudder to think of what could happen in a game like this..

I was also in a carlow club a while back and you could see the stacks dissappearing at the tables.. and again only went once

In the early days of this place the rake was 10% NO CAP, i saw 400 quid raked from one pot on a table
