Damn, that's a good deal. Really good game too. Well worth picking up for that price if you don't have it already.

Nicely done, I'll see you online then! Hopefully the extra 30 quid I spent a few weeks back will mean I can kick your ass in a best trick contest!

A very overrated game imo, and the only 360 game that I own that I'd consider selling. (out of 20 or so)
Some people seem to love it though, so perhaps you'll get more entertainment out of it than I did...

Rented this one out over the weekend and just couldn't see the appeal. It seems like an absurdly large amount of effort to get good at it, and tbh I found it too frustrating to actually devote any amount of time to it. Just wasn't much fun - a game in which even a small curb is a major annoyance is not good in my book.

Perhaps Tony Hawks and it's arcadey addictiveness has killed my patience. I can see how people would like .skate (real life skateboarders in particular are sure to appreciate it), but the difficulty really turned me off.

I like the difficulty level, it means that when you pull off a really hard, complex sequence, you actually felt that you had an involvement in it, rather than randomly mashing buttons like some other games. Some of the challenges are frustrating at times, but I was completely absorbed by the game, and I'm not a skater either.

Yeah, I liked it a lot too. I agree it IS difficult but I've found I've managed to get better in line with the challenges and definitely agree that you feel some involvement in the trick.

I've started a specific thread for people who are into it on this forum...

    DeV.
