I wonder does anyone have a clip of Ireland am this morning when it resembled the Jerry Spinger show, members from the same family on the couch, one says she was abused by here father and mother the other side says its all lies(I don't know the ins and out but there was a court case about it)

Next someone being called a paedophile and pushing and shoving on the couch then at the end, all of them up pushing and showing in the studio and Cagney trying to separate them and them shouting and roaring at each other even when it went to break their mikes were still on and you could here them shouting.

    More of it I say.

    (Red faces at TV3)

I saw that the family were coming up on the show, but had to leave for work before they came on. I was actually thinking that I heard it wrong, because they'd never have two sides of an argument like that in the same studio. It appears I was wrong.

Don't expect to see it on youtube because someone would have to admit to recording it first (and who records Ireland AM?)

TV3 are probably delighted.. anything to draw a few more viewers. Maybe they'll just go with this, have Mark Cagney hosting a Jeremy Kyle type program

Wonder if it will make it into "the best of Ireland AM" this weekend.

Are they still showing that repeat four times each weekend?

I think it takes the best part of 24 hours before a video will appear in the youtube search.

There's an item on TV3 News now about this, it's coming up later. I can't believe it isn't on YouTube yet! :(

Yeah they were gloating about it, I didn't see the RTE news so I dunno what they said about it.

I was sitting chilling after a night shift and was watching it. It started to heat up so I hit the record button...Better than Jerry Springer as it wasn't staged. 'Will try copy it from harddrive and stick it on youtube later. Will update when done.

Gloating seems unusual for something on the same channel. Surprised it got shown on TV3 news at all. It was also on the 11pm news.
Apparently the woman is delusional. Channel 4 did a series on lie detectors a few months back - her story was featured. The family members all took lie detector tests. She had agreed to take one too but pulled out at the last minute.

TV3 repeated this on their news. I thought they couldnt sink lower in my estimation. I'm guessing they will have a half-hour apology on this morning show to draw further attention to something of slight interest happened on their channel.

Sorry, my mistake! I actually thought Ireland AM was an RTE show:o
I could understand them publicising it if it was. I suppose they think any publicity is good publicity.

At last, we get a look. I think it was always going to end like that, very heated to say the least. I thought there was some punches etc. Not as bad as it was made out to be.

thanks for the link stapeler :D

While I'm no expert on TV production or stage management, it seems obvious the opposing sides should have been seated apart, for example, on opposite sides of the couch, with the presenters in the middle.

Wow, that's pretty impressive. My claim to fame was that I changed the world by voting for Kellogs to call Choco Rice Crispies, Coco Pops again. You beat me :(
