Router woes

    losing my connection to the internet frequently and sometimes to the router itself (wireless).
    reseting router always works .
    its a belkin.
    i lose the connection on the 2 computers so it must be the router ..any ideas???

    Do you have filters on all other phone outlets incl. skybox alarm etc.?

    Check if you have authentication turned on, if you do then you need to make sure that both PC's are set up to use it. If that isn't set up right you'll only be able to get on-line for a short while before you lose the connection.

    I leave authentication turned off on my Belkin router. I just rely on WEP and turning off SSID broadcasting instead.
