    Hi there,

I'm just wondering if any of you have done one of these short breaks before? Planning on going in February with 3 others. We only have 4 days and are novice skiers. Where did you book?

    Thank you.

Here are a couple i have done in the past :

Poland - Krakow with Ryanair, and ski in Zakopane is one option. You would need a car though.

Italy - Bergamo with Ryanair (they call is Milan!) and Ski in Foppolo. Its a lovely place but its quiet. Depends what your after. I stayed here http://www.albergodesalpes.it/ As skiing goes it is extremely cheap. You can check the conditions at http://www.foppolo.provinciabergamasca.com/webcamfoppolo.html

Rome - Skiing at the Roccaraso resort. (200 km from Rome)

And of course there are a pletorah of places in the more traditional ski areas in the Alps - France, Italty, Austria, Switzerland - take you pick.

Only other bit of advice - if you are a novice then go to ski school. It will save you so much pain, and maybe a broken back or leg too !
