there's a place at Togher's Business Park Newbridge that sells them - don't know their name though. - Beside the Red House Hotel on road into Newbridge.

There's a place in Kilkenny, just outside the city, Mad Bikes that sell all sorts of quads and bikes, electric and petrol, for kids and adults. My sister got a 50cc bike and 2-stroke quad for her kids there. I think they were pretty good prices too. If the kids are a little older (7-10) I'd recommend petrol as they looked a little more durable than their battery counterparts. You just need a big open field or somewhere to use them.

If you're thinking of buying something like this online then bare in mind that the delivery cost would likely be quite expensive, especially if it's coming from outside Ireland. My sister go stung by a shower of cowboys in the UK last year too. The company they ordered from featured on the BBC's Watchdog just after they had paid too. Never got money back as the company owners fled the country. Might be best to stick to bricks and mortar shops.

srbworld (internet site) does a great range of electric quads, jeeps and more. I got my son an electric jeep for his birthday (he's four years old) - it cost around £100 less than a well known retailer and is the most durable electric toy I've come across. Service is excellent and delivery is only a matter of days. Recommended.

4 year old threads shouldn't be dragged up. Information changes and goes out of date.
