    Just wondering if there is any standard when it comes to site maps? If I included all my pubs etc in my site map it would be massive i.e. 20000 pages or so? So when people are showing their site map on a site, what is the norm?

    The site map wouldn't (IMO) include all pubs - it would just include the main pages:-
    * home
    * about us
    * search
    * etc
    see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Site_map

    but for your sitemap.xml file for google sitemaps it would need to include all of your pubs.
    but that can be done by a generator so you should be fine. Just update it on a regular basis.

    Thanks Matt.
    I was going to point out google's site map but it was already linked from the wiki article so I didn't.
