not working notice period

    ive just handed in my notice and am required to work one calender month. what are the legal implications on me if i don't work this notice period.

    technically if it's in your contract then legal it would be a breach of said contract.

    Would your company come after you and sue? probably not depending on your position with them. you'll probably find they'll with hold pay until the month is over then pay you.
