recently set up a new account with giganews and use newsbin pro for fetching the files.. tonight i finished downloading a 6gig file, however there was a small part missing and when i used quickpar to try to repair, it said i needed 1 more block.. anyone know how do i go about getting the rest of the file repaired or…

Download one of the par recovery files...

the usual setup is as follows:

myfile.rar
myfile.r00
...
...
...
myfile.par
myfile.vol00+01.par
myfile.vol01+02.par
...
...

The par file contains the checksum info.. the vol+xx files are the recovery files.. the +1 or +2 files mean they contain 1 block or 2 blocks in them.. just download the so if u need 1 block, download 1 of them if u need 3 blocks, dowload the 1 block file and the 2 block file.. etc...
