Just wondering, can you apply for a weekend job in any shop in shopping center or do you have to apply for part time? I just need one on a saturday or sunday and i cant work on weekdays cos of school.

You can ask, but them jobs are 10 a penny. Lots of people will line up for them jobs. People offer "evenings as well" to look good, and get picked.

Weekends are a popular shift , however it is worth applying and mentioning what you are available for. if you are popping a cv in then add a covering lettter that you are available for weekends, being able to do one late night a week helps too
I recruit staff and I like to take on plently of weekend staff and this means I have a plentiful supply of holiday staff ie half term , christmas etc as most students can do extra hours then

    good luck
